In developing the system PDC researched extensively the operating requirements of all leading 3D modelling technology such as Navisworks proprietary software, Strucad, Tekla Structures, Prosteel and Autoplant piping, and subsequently integrated them to enable full clash detection in the final design of a project.
The PDC 3D Modelling Process is a powerful and flexible design and detail tool that has both revolutionised and provided collaboration across the design and drafting process. PDC has also been a world leader in the introduction of Building Information Modelling.

- Create ad-hoc marking plan - Tags are displayed with the member marks on selected entities in the model to create views and printouts
- Export views - A custom HTML report can be produced with a screenshot of views and comments created during a design review
