PDC Privacy Policy

Application of the Policy

This Privacy Policy (Policy) applies to PDC Consultants (PDC) and all members of our organisation. Under recent amendments to the Privacy Act (Cth) 1988 (Privacy Act), private sector organisations search as PDC are now regulated in how they collect, use and hold personal information. This Policy outlines PDC's obligations with respect to personal information under the Privacy Act.

In this Policy "Personal Information" means information about or an opinion relating to, a person, as defined in section 6 of the Privacy Act and which may be collected by PDC for the purposes set out in this Policy.

PDC is bound by the National Privacy Policy Principles (NPPs) contained in Schedule 3 of the Privacy Act.

Management of personal information

The NPPs require PDC to take reasonable steps to protect the security of personal information. PDC staff are required to respect the confidentiality of personal information and individuals privacy.
